Try Mermaid
A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to be a mermaid.
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a mermaid? Join the SSI Try Mermaid program and make your dreams come true! You will complete a mermaid experience with an SSI professional in a pool/confined waters and learn entry-level mermaid skills, including swimming with a mermaid monofin. Earn your SSI Try Mermaid recognition rating. It is the perfect program to do before joining our SSI Mermaid course.
Requirements
Minimum age is 6 years old.
Must be able to swim and tread/float.
Personal Equipment
Bring your own: swimsuit, goggles, towel, & water bottle.
Tail & monofin provided, however, you can bring your own if you already have one.
SSI Mermaid Explorers
Have you ever dreamed of swimming like a real mermaid? The SSI Mermaid Explorer program introduces young aquatic adventurers to the magical world of mermaiding in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. Guided by an SSI Professional, participants will build confidence in the water while learning foundational mermaid skills, swimming techniques, underwater movement, and ocean awareness using a mermaid monofin and tail in confined water. As part of the SSI Explorers program, Mermaid Explorers also develop water safety, self-confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the underwater world while earning their SSI Mermaid Explorer recognition rating.
This is a three part course and is designed to have students attend all three consecutive sessions.

Minimum age is 6 years old. This course is designed for kids ages 6-11 years old.
Must be able to swim and tread/float.
