Step 2 - Confined Water Dives
Develop and practice scuba skills in the pool under direct instructor supervision. As you learn new skills, you’ll build the abilities and confidence needed for diving in open water (ocean/lakes/quarrys).

Open Water Dives
Get ready to experience everything you have learned with the freedom of open water. As soon as your open water training dives are approved by your instructor you will be a certified OW Diver.

Become a certified Open Water Diver in 3 simple steps. You will learn what you need to know to explore the underwater world using scuba equipment. Most people find it a rewarding challenge. Open Water Diver is a lifetime international certification and is your prerequisite to enroll in additional training (Enriched Air, Advanced Open Water, Wreck Diver, Underwater Photo, and more); you can even become a Master Diver.

A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you'll learn all the steps it takes to be a certified diver.
Have you always wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Scuba Shack offers this program either in a pool, off a beach or from a dive boat.
Academic
Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.

Upcoming Dates
Experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a dive Pro. Take your first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6 ft. For children who are at least 8 years old.
A child must be 8 years old or older. Kids must be comfortable in the water, but no prior experience is necessary. Parental approval is required.
